The search for Miss Amelia
Big Tom, a direct descendant of Merlin’s familiar, leads a cat colony that lives in a disused dockyard cared for by Artist Miss Amelia. The authorities redevelop the site and force a reluctant Miss Amelia from her home.
Chased by ailurophobe Bertram Grunge and his men, the cats scramble through the sewers then bump into Oliver, a large fierce black dog. In a showdown with Bertram Grunge Oliver charges to the rescue. Big Tom rewards him with the accolade of “honorary cat”.
However, their adventure has only just begun because they embark on a hazardous journey and meet all sorts of weird and wonderful characters in their search for Miss Amelia.
